The Hanoverian Winter Auction will be held in the Niedersachsenhalle on January 18 and 19, 2013.
98 carefully chosen riding horses will be put up for auction. The talented dressage, show jumping, event and pleasure horses will move into their stalls in the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden on January 7, 2013.
The collection is quite versatile. From appropriate leasure to outstanding sport horses, the winter collection provides the perfect horse for every rider. There are youngsters in the collection to be discovered at second glance that deserve to be further advanced. But the collection also features competition horses for the coming show season that already confirmed their capabilities with victories and placement achieved at tournaments. “We were delighted that the Hanoverian breeders presented us riding horses of such outstanding quality. There were traditional bloodline combinations out of approved dam lines, but also horses with a modern hereditary background,” Auction Manager Joerg-Wilhelm Wegener explained after the selection trip.
The Winter Auction will be held as usual in the Niedersachsenhalle with the horses arriving in Verden on January 7. The auction training will start on Saturday, January 12, at 9.00 am. The presentation of the auction horses on Sunday, January 13, will be recorded and broadcasted on video clip on the Internet the next day.
All auction horses will be ridden and trained every day by their auction riders under the supervision of Hans-Heinrich Meyer zu Strohen and Hartmut Kettelhodt with interested customers having the opportunity to test and inspect them.
The auction starts on Saturday, January 19, as of 3 pm.
