Hanoverian May Auction in Verden

The May Auction for Hanoverian riding horses will be held on May 3 and 4 in Verden. 90 riding horses for dressage, show jumping, eventing and the pleasure riding sector will be put up for auction. It is no secret any more that the so-called interim auctions in Verden are a special market place, and the May Auction has also established itself as market of opportunities.

Talented dressage, show jumping and event riders will be offered a wide range of thoroughly selected and tested competition horses. Besides, the selection committee has committed itself to the mission of offering suitable pleasure horses. Apart from the aptitude for sports and correctness of conformation and gaits, particular emphasis is placed on rideability, strong nerves and pleasant nature. The collection will feature competition horses for all three disciplines that also exhibit pleasure horse qualities.

55 futurity dressage prospects will be offered for sale. Many of the young horses already achieved excellent own accomplishments with a high percentage of show successes including victories and high placements in riding horse ability classes and dressage horse ability competitions of novice and elementary level. The dressage horse collection is complemented by a number of state premium candidates. The pedigrees are impressive and provide a huge variety of bloodline combinations. The show jumping collection includes 35 youngsters with the same outstanding own accomplishments achieved. Most of them successfully competed in jumper riding horse classes of novice and elementary level, some of them even at medium level. The sires of the jumpers show great work ethic. 17 auction horses from the dressage and show jumping collection have all the additional properties required as pleasure horse. They are presented during daily training in their particular disciplines, but their aptitude for pleasure riding is also shown in special presentations.
