Gold for McLain Ward in Toronto

It was a tough and technical two rounds course designed by Michel Vaillancourt, that the riders faced for the Individual Finals day. Only two riders managed to stay clear over both rounds and a jump off against the clock was necessary to hand the Gold and Silver medals. First to go in the jump off would be Venezuela's Andres Rodriguez in the saddle of Darlon van Groenhoeve who left the door open for McLain Ward as they had a rail down at the second element of the double number four.

McLain and his amazing Rotchild (Arthos Z) entered the ring focused on securing a third clear round and achieved their goal to take the Gold medal of the 2015 Pan American Games back home, leaving the Silver medal for Andres Rodriguez. Another five riders and their mount jump off was needed for the Bronze, and

it would be Lauren Hough and her wonderful Ohlala who would take the Bronze as the only clear round in this second jump off.

The other four contenders in the jump off for the Bronze were, Argentina's Jose Maria Larocca and Cornet Du Lys who took the ungrateful 4thplace, Brazilian Pedro Veniss and Quabri de L'Isle who was 5th, Emanuel Andrade and Hardrock Z who took 6th place, and Argentian Luis Pedro Biraben aboard Abunola who ended 7th.
