Global Champions Tour of Germany

The Global Champions Tour moves to Germany for the third leg of this exciting championship. The German leg is hosted by the historical German Jumping and Dressage Derby which commences tomorrow, Wednesday 20 May 2009.

The GCT ranking is already a close battle, with Rolf-Goran Bengsston and Michel Robert on equal points with 33 a piece at the top of the table and Edwina Alexander following close behind with 26 points.

The first big class of the event, the Mercedes-Benz Championat von Hamburg, will take place on Thursday 21 May at 13:45 and can be watched live on www.globalchampionstour.com. The class is a qualifier for the GCT of Germany Grand Prix which will take place on Saturday 23 May at 13:30 televised locally on NDR and relayed live on Eurosport at 19:30.
