France vs. 20 countries: there’ll be fun and sport!

The International Show Jumping of Vichy (France) announces once again a high-level group of riders. The team silver medalist couple at the World and European Championships Penelope Leprévost and his gray stallion Mylord Carthago will lead a strong delegation of 38 French riders from all over France. On the “visitors” side, 20 countries will be represented: South Africa, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Spain, USA, Finland, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Morocco, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Switzerland.

The headliners

If the horse is as important as the rider since we are talking about couples in horse riding, here are some of the headliners who will ride this weekend in Vichy.

On French side: Penelope Leprévost, Patrice Delaveau, Simon Delestre, Michel Robert, Michel Hécart Philippe Rozier.

On visitors side: Lauren Hough (USA), Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA), Pilar Cordon (ESP) – photo, Arthur Da Silva (SUI), Manuel Anon Suarez (ESP), Tim Gredley (GBR) Abdelkebir Ouaddar (MOR), Simone Wettstein (SUI), Niall Talbot (IRL), Claudia Gisler (SUI), Yazmin Pinchen (GBR).

Pilar Cordon will be the defending champion (she won the Grand Prix last year riding Nuage Bleu).
