For the dressage horses it was smooth sailing through the vet check – not a single horse in holding box and just one or two with a second trot up.
Just like the jumping horses all of the dressage horses passed the vet inspection earlier today. A few horses had to do another round, but this seemed to have more to do with difficulty trotting up straight and uninterrupted than with health issues, and all horses cleared without holding box.
The vet check was conducted in front of several of the international judges like chairman of the dressage judges Leif Törnblad (DEN) and Isabelle Judet (FRA) and the veterinary committee with President Mr. Hans Schougaard (DEN), treating Veterinary Mr. Niels Guus Andersen (DEN), Foreign Veterinary Delegate Mr. Marco Hermann (SUI) and member Mr. Nicolai Jarløv (DEN).
The Blue Hors FEI European Championships in dressage begins Wednesday at 14.30 with round 1 – Grand Prix.
