Dancing World, Statinus and Viscount honoured in Verden (video)

On the occasion of the presentation of privately owned stallions in Verden, the Hannoveraner Verband honoured the best young stallions that completed their stallion performance tests with outstanding results at the age of three last year.

The awards were named after the trademark stallions Weltmeyer (dressage) and Stakkato (show jumping). The Weltmeyer-Prize was given to the Dancier/Wolkenstein II-son Dancing World. Statinus by Stakkato/All in One and Viscount by Valentino/Acorado won the Stakkato-Prize.

Dancing World completed his stallion performance test in Schlieckau with a dressage breed value of 147 points. He was born with Horst Wesch, Bad Bederkesa, where he was discovered by his raiser, Herbert Kruse vom Hamburg. Dancing World was licensed in Verden in April 2012. He finished third at the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships with his trainer Sandra Frieling and participated at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf before he completed his 70-day performance test in Schlieckau. The brown stallion is the latest flagship out of the dam line of Ontoria. Dieta, the DLG Champion Mare, is his direct ancestor. Her monument is well-known far beyond the Verden borders.

Statinus confirmed his jumping capabilities in Adelheidsdorf; a breed value of 145 points was the reward for his above-average performances. His breeder Klaus Buenger from Oetzen has been fostering the foundation line of Fechtspange for more than 30 years on his farm. He also bred dam's sire All in One and presented Statinus at the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in 2011. Stallion holder Mathieu Beckmann from Wettringen purchased the grey horse at the Stallion Sales.
The Valentino/Acorado-son Viscount (breeder and exhibitor: Rainer Schuster, Haag/Amper) shined at his Stallion Licensing in October 2011. The gorgeous black horse convinced not only on the triangle, but also over the fences, and he was nominated Premium stallion. The most expensive show jumping stallion moved to the Celle National State Stud. He lived up to expectations and shined with a jumping breed value of 138 points. The dam line of Cadarina is an internationally well-known line: Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum's Stella, Franke Sloothaak's Prestige and Heinrich-Wilhelm Johannsmann's Garlic and the currently very successful dressage horse Blind Date trace back to this foundation mare.
