Claudia Gisler untouchable in the Grand Prix at St. Lô

The key to the course designed by Jean-Paul Lepetit in the Grand Prix of the City of Saint-Lô – Conurbation Saint-Lô was not easy to find. Only two couples managed to qualify for the jump off of 59 starters. The Swiss Claudia Gisler finally beat French Reynald Angot and offers her second coronation in Saint-Lô (FRA). 1 star Grand Prix ran at midday saw the victory of the French Breton Loïc Gloaguen ahead of Belgian Joke Mardaga.

The public of Saint-Lô remembers probably because she won the 2010 Grand Prix in the International 2 stars Jumping organized in the Normandy Horse Show in August. At 32, the rider from Luzern obviously much appreciates Normandy but the chance to travel the world for fun. “I am amateur rider” admits she embarrassed to face French professional riders just beat it. “I go in the morning and I'm an accountant in the afternoon for the family business.” It is therefore with less pressure she faced the 13 barriers suggested by Jean-Paul Lepetit. “The first half of the course was more complicated,” says Nicolas Delmotte. Suspense at its peak

Reynald Angot, third to start, made the first clear round. One would think he would show the way but it was the opposite. It was not until the 38th passage to see the Swiss Claudia Gisler on Touchable male to review a perfect course. Breton takes a Channel

At lunch time, 65 riders set off on the Grand Prix CSI 1* the colors of the department of Manche. The ringmaster Jean-Paul Lepetit signed a perfect record of a statistical point of view since 8 couples realized clear rounds.
