The colombian olympic dressage rider Cesar Parra, will train the eight-year-old licensed Hanoverian stallion Wild Dance, owned by Horses Unlimited, a premier American breeding establishment with a roster of world-class stallions. Wild Dance was the winner of the Stallion Performance Test with 140 points and already has an impressive FEI level show record, including the Reserve Championship at the 2005 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals, a prestigious show circuit in Germany for seven to nine year dressage horses competing at Prix St. Georges.
Wild Dance is licensed as a Hanoverian, but is also approved for Oldenburg, Hessian, Westfalian and Rhinelander Verbands. In May, the stallion won both Prix St. Georges classes at the German show CDN Aubenhausen, with scores of 72.92% and 75.67 percent. Wild Dance was also the highest scoring qualifier for the Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals, with a 75.67%.
Dr. Parra will continue working with Hubertus Schmidt, who has maintained the horse’s schedule in Germany. Schmidt and Parra have worked closely for the last several years with a variety of horses, including Parra’s Olympic and World Cup partner, Galant du Serein.
Wild Dance has arrived in the United States and is currently in quarantine.
