A total of 96 stallions are entered for the BWP Stallion Selection 2013. Like last year, only the 3- and 4-year old candidates are invited to the Second Phase.
This means that 83 young stallions will be presented from 16 to 19, January, 2013 in Moorsele (Zilveren Spoor). The older candidates are to be shown in March in Neeroeteren (De Warre – March, 13-16).
Among the 96 candidates, 69 are BWP registered at their birth.
The stallions can be subdivided in the following categories:
Second Phase:
– 58 BWP born jumping stallions
– 1 BWP born dressage stallion
– 4 non-BWP dressage stallions
– 20 non-BWP jumping stallions
Third Phase:
– 8 BWP born jumping stallions
– 2 non-BWP jumping stallions
– 2 BWP born dressage stallions
– 1 non-BWP dressage stallion
