The best foals born in 2013 will be presented at the 39th Hanoverian Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction in Verden.
The collection features 243 foals and 22 selected broodmares, put up for auction on August 17 and 18. The 140 colts and 103 fillies descend from 101 different sires, among them futurity prospects for dressage and show jumping. There will be Champion foals of different foal shows with pedigrees that leave no desires open, part of them with famous relatives. The Verden auction provides the biggest and most diverse collection within Europe with 243 foals and 22 broodmares in total.
The auction will be held on two days with the horses being presented in the morning and sold in the afternoon on both days, Saturday and Sunday. The decision to reduce the three-day auction marathon of the past years to two days certainly matches the wishes of the eagerly buying Verden customers.
The more compact, but well-structured and organized auction schedule offers customers from all over the world the opportunity to purchase an outstanding, top-class futurity prospect.
One week before the 39th Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction, the World Champions of five- and six-year-old dressage horses will be determined on the Verden racetrack area.
The International Dressage and Show Jumping Festival is a fixed schedule in the calendar of equestrian events with more than 45,000 spectators being expected to attend the event this year. The Hannoveraner Verband will present the collection of foals and broodmares including auction catalogue and videos in the TIC-tent.
The first half of the foal and broodmare collection will be presented on Saturday, August 17, as of 9.00 am on the outdoor premises of the Niedersachsenhalle. The auction will start as of 3.00 pm.
On Sunday, August 18, the second part of the foal collection will be shown outside as of 9.00 am. The auction will start on time at 2.00 pm in the Niedersachsenhalle.
