The Fundação Alter Real will be hosting an auction of 30 Lusitano horses (17 mares + 13 males) on the 24th April at 15h00.
Alter Real reserves itself the right to change the number of announced animals and to withdraw them from the auction, when the offer is not suitable. To the final value of the horse 3% auction organization fee and 5% VAT, will be added. Minimum bid is €100.
Total payment is due in the act of purchase.
The buyers have to pick up the horses the latest on the 7th of May 2007, in disinfected vehicles according to the law. After this date, a daily fee of €8 (plus 21% VAT) will be charged for each horse.
If the horse is not picked up until 60 days after the purchase, the purchase price will not be reimbursed and horse property rights will be reversed to Fundação Alter Real.
Buyers must present their fiscal identification number to be stated on the invoice. Buyers from other European Community countries will not be charged with the Portuguese VAT if they present their valid VAT number of the country of their residence.
From the 17th of April 2007 on, all horses relevant information will be available and the horses can be looked at.
Mares – Pátio das Éguas from 10 a.m. till 03 p.m.
Males – Pátio D.João VI from 10 a.m. till 05 p.m.
