181 riders, 29 countries: D-7 before the Championships start!

Twenty nine nations, a new record for such an event in Europe. From 14 to 21, these almost 200 riders will compete during 5 days of high level competition, from the 25th to 29th of July, at the Auvers Stables, in the heart of the Manche region, in Normandy. It will be a great opportunity to discover the future champions of show jumping.

The nations’ traditional parade, from the Auvers stables to the centre of Carentan. The riders of Auvers Stables will lead and close the parade. The shopkeepers will decorate their windows with equestrian themed articles. The procession will make its way to the Carentan village hall where a welcome cocktail will be offered by the town, which is very implicated in the championships.

Saturday July 28th and Sunday July 29th – Equestrian show with J.-F. Pignon – Auvers Stables

Jean-François Pignon, the famous equestrian artist, just recently back from Great Britain where he performed on several evenings at the Royal Welsh Show, will light up the Championships’ arena with two exceptional performances of his numbers. His style, which is based on working with horses which roam free, has won over tens of thousands of spectators around the world. Europe, but also Australia, Japan, and the United States have been won over by this artist who is almost forty years old and who went to school on horse back as a child. Accompanied by Azaria, Hisis, Aziel, Laïs and his other playmates which take part in this equestrian display originating from Iberia, Jean-François Pignon will enchant children and adults, with two days of sport and entertainment.
